Since 1999 LSL took dancing to another level by starting the trend in soulful house music boat parties after changing corporatiztion of club culture due to gentrification starting with the Mayor Gulliani who resturrected a sleeping law, the race based NY Cabaret Law created in the 1920s. The boat offered an environment for our lovely conscientious party people with a purpose to find optimum enjoyment socializing, dancing and enjoying a true diverse crowd unified by the music.

DJ Jeannie Hopper's Liquid Sound Lounge began as a radio show in 1993, Saturday's 7-10pm WBAI99.5fm with Co-host Steve Marshall and later joined by Reggie Johnson. LSL serves the underground soul infused dance music scenes, mining the musical gems supporting indie producers, dj's and labels, and raising awareness on issues that impact underground culture from the creators to the patrons. http://LiquidSoundLounge.com
